For this project my goal was to streamline navigation, guide users, and boost shop engagement for Joy's all-in-one wedding registry. To achieve this, I designed a user-friendly, accessible checklist feature. This readily available tool, accessible through a prominent top navigation button, simplifies item browsing and selection. For organized management, dynamic accordions allow users to expand and collapse category sections within the checklist. Additionally, a visual progress indicator in the top navigation keeps users motivated by tracking registry completion. Collaboration with engineers ensured smooth functionality of the entire checklist component. But the benefits go beyond functionality. This accessible checklist empowers new users by reducing overwhelm and encouraging them to create comprehensive registries with items across diverse categories. This, in turn, potentially leads to more fulfilled gifts for couples. Overall, the intuitive design with progress tracking aims to make wedding registry creation smoother and more enjoyable, potentially boosting user satisfaction and engagement.
